Saturday, May 15, 2010 The Chili Fire Department was called out this morning to assist the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in rescuing eight baby ducks that fell down into a sewer located behind 17 Pumpkin Hill. Armed with only a fishing net Deputy Sheriff K.Ball assisted by Captain DaVia and LT. Harris retrieved all eight safely and returned them to their mother.
